Steven Baker had been in business for a few years, evolving from a designer of events to one of interiors. He decided to invest in his branding in order to define his place in a crowded market, and take his company to the next level. 

His unique take? While many competitors have a signature “look,” Boyd Baker Designs is decidedly and purposely versatile, often letting the client take the lead. Steven’s background as a stage actor means he brings an appropriately dramatic flair to the process, and helps clients feel comfortable living out their own stories, too. 

The visual identity of Boyd Baker Designs includes hand-drawn elements paired with bold, geometric shapes, beginning with the double-B logo. The magnifying glass, picture frame, and keyhole are recurring elements with varying degrees of abstraction.
